Description
“La Consulta” is the name of the town where General San Martín "consulted" the indigenous chieftains on wich mountain passes should his army march to cross the Andes during the Argentine independence war. Elegant and expressive wines, with a charming balance of fruit and oak, exposing the true varietal character. Features Winery:

Region: New Cuyo - Mendoza Year of harvest: 2006 Aging: 50% of the wine; 3rd use French and American oak (50% each) during 6 months Bottle capacity: 750.00 ml. Alcoholic graduation: 13.50 % pH: 3.70 Total acidity: 5.00 g/L Residual sugar: 2.00 g/L Harvest: 10 to 15 April. Vineyards: San Carlos, Uco Valley, Mendoza Standard yield: 12,000 Kg./Ha, 2.5 Kg./Plant Density of plantation: 5,000 Plants/Ha Fermentation: In 30.000 Lts tanks, with controlled temperature, 3 days with pre fermentative cold maceration at 9°C.
